Welcome 2016

For me today marks the first work day of 2016. I've sat around and relaxed since New Years Eve, Thursday evening, and now after a long ,nice needed rest, it's time to get back to work.

We're not even a week into 2016 and it already feels like we're in for one wild ride. That's OK I enjoy a little excitement in my life. We've already witnessed a stock market crash in China, and an armed militia has taken over a federal building here in the United States. WOW, and not even a week into the new year.

I'm not going to comment much on either event other than saying, I think this is only the beginning of a turbulent worldwide market for 2016, and it's about time people began to stand up for freedom again. I think the main reason these folks are so upset is that the legal system is using terrorism sentencing guidelines on a couple farmers who obviously aren't terrorists. These guys are standing up for our rights, and should be considered in the truest sense hero's, a term I find highly overused these days.

With that little rant out of the way, I'm excited about 2016. I usually don't set new year resolutions but this year I set three !

  1.  I quit smoking 1½ years ago and packed on a lot of weight as a result. The Dood is dropping at least, bold, italic, and underlined, 50 pounds this year. Hopefully more, but I'm the fattest I've ever been, and I'm not having it anymore!
  2. I've experimented a lot with PHP throughout 2015, so I'm planning on really learning PHP inside and out by the end of 2016.
  3. Finally, I've been trying to get a web design business off the ground for the last 2 years, and I think this year I'm really going to try and focus on attracting new clients and taking the idea a little more seriously. I'd really like to be successfully self employed by the end of 2016.
With that said, welcome 2016 ! I'm really excited about the new year, and can't wait to see what the future holds. I think we're going to see huge changes in both world events and U.S. events over the next year. Happy 2016 everyone!

Nigerian Ambassador LOLZ

This shit cracks me up... I checked into an old spam gmail account I have to configure something so I can use it as an smtp server with my ROKOS and I found this email. I just find it absolutely incredible that some nitwit somewhere actually falls for this. REALLY ! That this is even still attempted today is reason to stop fluoridating the water supply ! God help us all :-)

LOLZ from the Nigerian Ambassador, gmail includes a disclaimer with the letter warning people. This should be on auto-delete to protect the stupid. I wonder if even with the warning some hapless fluoride head still falls for this nonsense. Sorry for being over critical but I just can't believe anyone would fall for this, and if they did shame on them !
OK, I have to get back to what I was doing. I just had to share the stupidity.

I also want you to understand that i do trust you and i expect you to show me the same trust and respect in return since trust is a 2-way street.
