I've used blogger for a long time now and for the most post part I love the platform. For the last 4 months now, I've been blogging on a platform called Steemit. It's a platform similar to Blogger only you join and you get paid in STEEM cryptocurrency when you post. I wrote a review about it over here :
http://bitcoindood.com/bitcoin-blog/2016/12/07/the-doods-steemit-review/
I've had a few decent payouts so far, and although every post doesn't make a fortune it is nice to receive the occasional payout from time to time. If you enjoyed this blog, please consider following me on Steemit.
https://steemit.com/@the-bitcoin-dood
Because Steemit is a newer platform, I'm leaving this blog up for now. Who know's I may return here some day. The Blogger platform has been very good to me over the years. Thanks for checking out Whatever-Dood and hope you check me out over on Steemit.
I also just started using Supload.com for image hosting. The site pays you in Bitcoin for using their service. So far so good. If you enjoyed my graphics I'll be posting them regularly at supload.com
https://supload.com/u/BitcoinDood
As always, feel free to use my graphics. If you do, a link back to my supload page isn't necessary but certainly appreciated.
Just a place for me to post thoughts and whatever I feel like at the time. Checkout BitcoinDood.com for news, links and blogging about cryptocurrency.

Sending A Group DM on Twitter
Just discovered this the other day. If you've ever wondered about sending a group DM on twitter it's super easy to do now. Click images to enlarge.
First click the little message icon that you usually use to send a DM to your favorite tweep!
Next click the new message icon.
Now add your selected users. Just type one user in at a time or click on their user name in the list to add them. Example: @BitcoinDood @user2 @s0md00d24 etc etc... Then Click the next button.
Now send your message like any other twitter DM, only this time all the users selected in the group will receive the Direct Message DM ...
That's it. I can't believe it took me so long to discover this feature. Now you can create groups and send group messages without having to DM each person individually.

The Nutsack Leprechaun
So it's St Patty's Day and The Dood's knocked back more than a couple Guinness. I took a picture of this leprechaun earlier, and after a couple beers I was looking back over my posts, and noticed the leprechaun looks like he's drawn out of nutsack... Just saying....
I don't care what you say, that's a smiling nutsack with a beard! Happy St. Patrick's Day everyone.

Recipe: Tex-Mex Skillet "The Dood" Cooks !
Looking for a quick, healthy meal, that will feed a few people cheap. Try this Tex-Mex Skillet with ground turkey.
Ingredients:
Toss ground turkey in really large skillet and brown. While turkey is browning add the chopped vegetables (onion, green and red pepper, garlic).
Keep stirring the meat and allow the vegetables to cook with the meat. While the meat is cooking add your spices to taste. Add your paprika, chili powder, mash up the chipotle peppers and adobo sauce and add that to the skillet, splash with hot sauce to taste.
Once you have added your spices, continue to brown the meat. When the meat is cooked thoroughly and browned add the 2 cups of water and the 1¼ cup chunky salsa. Add the black beans and corn. Next add the 2 cups of instant brown rice and let boil for 5 minutes stirring occasionally. After 5 minutes, cover, turn off heat, and leave the skillet on the burner for about 15 to 20 minutes or until the rice has absorbed all the moisture.
Serve with soft flour tortillas, salsa, and garnish with cheese and sour cream.
Ingredients:
- 1 lb lean ground turkey
- 2 cups water
- 1 and ¼ cup thick and chunky salsa
- 1 can of corn (drained)
- 1 can of black beans (frijoles negro) (drained)

Welcome 2016
For me today marks the first work day of 2016. I've sat around and relaxed since New Years Eve, Thursday evening, and now after a long ,nice needed rest, it's time to get back to work.
We're not even a week into 2016 and it already feels like we're in for one wild ride. That's OK I enjoy a little excitement in my life. We've already witnessed a stock market crash in China, and an armed militia has taken over a federal building here in the United States. WOW, and not even a week into the new year.
I'm not going to comment much on either event other than saying, I think this is only the beginning of a turbulent worldwide market for 2016, and it's about time people began to stand up for freedom again. I think the main reason these folks are so upset is that the legal system is using terrorism sentencing guidelines on a couple farmers who obviously aren't terrorists. These guys are standing up for our rights, and should be considered in the truest sense hero's, a term I find highly overused these days.
With that little rant out of the way, I'm excited about 2016. I usually don't set new year resolutions but this year I set three !

- I quit smoking 1½ years ago and packed on a lot of weight as a result. The Dood is dropping at least, bold, italic, and underlined, 50 pounds this year. Hopefully more, but I'm the fattest I've ever been, and I'm not having it anymore!
- I've experimented a lot with PHP throughout 2015, so I'm planning on really learning PHP inside and out by the end of 2016.
- Finally, I've been trying to get a web design business off the ground for the last 2 years, and I think this year I'm really going to try and focus on attracting new clients and taking the idea a little more seriously. I'd really like to be successfully self employed by the end of 2016.

Without missing words, I am convinced 100% that you have had bitter experience with various scammers claiming to be high government officials banks and thereby defrauding you of your hard earned money the activities of these scammers has changed your perspective about conducting business on the internet and you now believed there is no genuine business that can be conducted on the internet. Well I am American and the internet was created by Americans for the purpose of creating; awareness for your products/ services and conducting genuine business with ease. I am fully committed to deliver the diplomatic consignment to you. I am a full citizen of the United States but i was on a mission here in Nigeria as a us ambassador to Nigeria.
Hence, I am making every effort to ensure that no citizen of the United States is cheated by Nigeria/Benin republic. Therefore, I need your utmost support and understanding to actualize this dream. I also want you to understand that i do trust you and i expect you to show me the same trust and respect in return since trust is a 2-way street. On the other hand, trust is a relationship of reliance. Trust also means being able to predict what other people will do and what situations will occur.
I shall be coming to your country for an official meeting on Monday and I will be bringing your funds of $15.5m along with me but this time I will not go through customs because as an ambassador to Nigeria, I am a us government agent and I have the veto power to go through customs. As soon as I am through with the meeting I shall then proceed to your address. (Send your cell phone number and the address where you want me to bring the package).

Driving Around Town Today.
I was out doing some holiday shopping earlier, and snapped a few pictures of my town, Buffalo NY. Thought I'd post them here for anyone that might be interested in where I come from.
This is a shop in Elmwood Village. I spent most of my early teens in this neighborhood when I was a kid. It use to be all bars, punk rockers, and skateboard kids, now over the years it's beginning to undergo gentrification, and is home to mostly hipsters and yuppies. Still a fun neighborhood to shop, and I didn't realize it at the time, but Elmwood Poster Art had just what I was looking for.
I passed this as I waited at a light, and couldn't help but giggle at the name. It's a neighborhood grocery, but I wonder if anyone ever accidentally stopped in there looking for some leather whips, and a bottle of KY. Come on, you thought it too.
This is in Black Rock. It's in a college neighborhood, I just liked the mural, so I took a picture.
This is the old insane asylum. I think it was SyFy Ghost Hunters did a TV special here. Ever since I was a kid, the place had tales of being haunted. We broke in one night and did a little urban exploring and the place definitely had a creepy vibe to it. Some of the rooms still had shackles and chains where they would keep the mentally unstable patients. All I'll say about that, is we pushed each other to explore as much of the place as possible, but I think everyone was relieved when we finally decided to leave. The place is currently being renovated as a high end hotel. I wonder if they'll tell the guests it was once a haunted insane asylum. LOLZ
I forget how old this building is but it's really old. It will make a really nice hotel when finished. It's one of the things I love about Buffalo. The city is filled with all kinds of old Victorian architecture, and cute little neighborhoods.
This is my old stomping grounds. I just about lived in here from my 20's to my early 30's. The bar use to be called the Pink Flamingo and when I hung out was home to bikers, metal heads, punk rockers, and all the local riff raff. Now it's just referred to as the Old Pink. Good freakin times here! I still stop in there from time to time, and the place hasn't really changed much over the years.
This is down the street from the bar. I love this neighborhood. The area is called Allentown, and they host a huge Art Festival here each year. I think it's the second biggest Art Festival in the country. People come from all over to check it out.I'll post more pictures of Allentown , it's one of my favorite parts of the city.
Well, that's it. Our tour of Buffalo has come to an end. I'll post more pictures from time to time. Thanks for checking them out and feel free to comment.

Spirits of Autumn [Autumn Psybient Compilation Vol. 2]
Woke up to this beautiful compilation of trance and imagery. With current world events and everything that's going on in Paris, sometimes we just need to take a deep breath, chill out and listen to some good music.
Music is one of those things that knows no borders and people can relate to it from every walk of life. For the most part I've found people are the same throughout the world and are generally decent, we only have corrupt governments and imaginary lines that divide us all.
Love and light,
The Dood
